The Cherry Creek Fire Department operates under three certification programs for our firefighters. Depending on each firefighters personal goals, our department will allow each member to decide which opportunity they would like to pursue.
- OFC (Office of the Fire Commissioner) Exterior certification program
- OFC (Office of the Fire Commissioner) Interior certification program
- NFPA 1001 Certification (Full-Service Firefighter) Completed through an accredited organization
Currently our department includes
- 7 – NFPA 1001 Firefighters
- 1 – OFC Interior Firefighter
- 8 – Members Currently enrolled in the NFPA 1001 Program
- 3 – Members Currently enrolled in the OFC Exterior Program
